Alchemy! is the critically acclaimed winner of the 2014 Boston Festival of Independent Games “Best Innovation”. It supports 2 to 5 players age 14 and up and takes about 15 minutes per player to play in a lighthearted but strategic set collecting game with a healthy dose of ‘take that’.
Alchemy! is the first game by Aviary Games founder Mike Kanarek. Players play as apprentice alchemists having a potion making contest, and each potion that you make gives you special abilities that will allow you to get ahead or sabotage your opponents.
Alchemy! features over 40 different potion cards and two different play variants in the core box which comes with two tuckboxes and a drawstring bag as well as the cards, tokens, player mats and rulebook.
Alchemy! launched with a mini-expansion “Famous Alchemists, Amazing Potions & Remarkable Places” comes with additional potions and new rules for alchemist cards that give players special powers and lab cards that change the rules of every game.
